A member of the California Bar since 1986 (State Bar # 124354), George H. Chant III has been providing cutting-edge estate planning tools and advice to individuals and businesses in California. For instance, we often provide advice to our clients as to matters of trust and estate administration, including minimizing income taxes and structuring distributions to beneficiaries. We also assist clients and professionals with preparation of both estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns. We coordinate with your investment advisors, brokers and financial planners to provide a consistent, efficient plan to minimize your exposure to estate taxes and income taxes and provide for the orderly disposition of your affairs. When it is necessary to probate an estate through the California courts, we represent you or your estate through the entire process, assisting with trust administration, the establishment and management of conservatorships/guardianships, and assist you with other matters in the California probate courts.
George also serves as General Counsel for Northstar Brokerage Advisory Services, Inc., a national Life Insurance and Annuity Brokerage organization providing top contracts, services, and products to 15 regional and national wholesaling firms, five broker-dealers, and more than 1600 professional Advisors in 21 states.
